Apex is a leading coaching organisation in Hertfordshire who provide sport for all ages across Hertfordshire. We have run successful Holiday Camps for a number of years which offer a variety of activities, are fun-filled, a great place for children to learn and make friends, and also affordable and convenient for parents. We pride ourselves on offering a quality service through our excellent camp venues and our highly qualified and experienced staff who have extensive experience in working with a wide range of age groups and sports.
We offer Multi-Activity camps as well as Dance camps, providing a quality service throughout so that parents are able to ensure their children are entertained and maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.
We plan to run our camps during every school holiday. Namely Feburary half-term, Easter, May half-term, Summer holidays, October half-term, Christmas/New Year holidays.
Unfortunately not. It is currently cost prohibitive as we would need to register each venue as opposed to just our company. We are looking at ways of sorting out the process, and will alert our customers as and when this would become available.
Children need to be aged 5+ to attend, in some circumstances we may allow younger children to participate (e.g. if they have an elder sibling attend) however it falls to the judgement of the lead coach of that camp. There is no maximum age, however secondary school children are likely to want to try other more challenging activities.

We work on a maximum of 1:16 ratio on our camps.
Yes, the children may well be placed in teams in our camps, and as long as we are aware of friends or siblings, we will try where possible to put them in the same teams.
Our camps have varying itineraries which can be found when you click onto the camp event links listed below. These are a good representation of what we will offer, but please be aware that content may change from time to time depending on a number of variables.
Our coaches are aware that some children may not know anyone so the day is structured so that they will play some team building games to begin with so that they get to make new friends during the day.
Lunch is generally around midday at our camps, but may vary from time to time. Coaches may carry out an informal ‘lunchbox inspection’ to ensure that enough lunch is eaten.
Firstly, a smile as we like our camps to be pleasant environment. Comfortable clothing and footwear, but please bring warmer clothing in case of poor weather, and the children can always remove a layer if necessary. A packed lunch and a refillable drinks bottle in case as there will be opportunities to re-hydrate throughout the day. We suggest children leave any mobile phones, iPods, etc at home as we will not be responsible if any are misplaced or lost. The coach will always have a mobile phone with them for emergency purposes and any messages can be passed onto children if necessary.
Some of our camps operate a tuck shop. Whether Tuck is sold at the venue will be outlined in the event page below.
Medical information is collected when you complete our booking procedure. Please give us as much information as possible to ensure we are fully aware and you can let us know what we need to look out for so that we can act accordingly.
Yes, of course. It is important you continually give us your contact details when re-booking for this very reason. In case of emergencies we will act accordingly and keep the parents/guardians updated.
