What children at our camps have to say:

I had a great day.  I loved that we did loads of different sports. The coaches were great fun and everyone joined in.

I really enjoyed the multisport day with Apex

Awesome. I liked all the sports we did and it was great when they said I was star of the day

What parents at our camps have to say:

Just a quick note to say thank you very much for proactively organising the ‘Strike Camp’ in Berkhamsted on Tuesday 1 Oct.

As full-time working parents, we really appreciated the service you laid on at such short notice and it took away much of the stress about how we were going to manage the care of our daughter, Emma.  Moreover, she really enjoyed the various activities laid on so much so that the transition back to school the next day was quite a challenge.

We were notified about the camp on Sunday by another parent and forwarded the details onto other parents in a similar situation, both in Emma’s school and others in the Berkhamsted area.  Whilst I think most had managed to make arrangements this time, we have been singing Apex’s praises, raising their awareness of your services during the school holidays, so hopefully this will turn into additional business in the long term.

Thank you again, our experience with you has been excellent and we have no hesitation in recommending the team.

Thanks for booking Tasha on, both her and Harvey had a ball at the last one.

What our trainee coaches have to say about working with us:

Georgie (Trainee coach)

Thank you for giving me the opportunity! I had really great week, the kids were lovely and I have learnt so much from Lizzie and Clare! I really enjoyed myself.

Key Information

When are your camps open?

We plan to run our camps during every school holiday. Namely Feburary half-term, Easter, May half-term, Summer holidays, October half-term, Christmas/New Year holidays.

Are you Ofsted registered so that I can use childcare vouchers?

Unfortunately not. It is currently cost prohibitive as we would need to register each venue as opposed to just our company. We are looking at ways of sorting out the process, and will alert our customers as and when this would become available.

How old do children need to be to attend your camps?

Children need to be aged 5+ to attend, in some circumstances we may allow younger children to participate (e.g. if they have an elder sibling attend) however it falls to the judgement of the lead coach of that camp. There is no maximum age, however secondary school children are likely to want to try other more challenging activities.

Who are your coaches?

Please visit our coaches section by clicking on the link below:

What are your coach to children ratios?

We work on a maximum of 1:16 ratio on our camps.

Can my child be in the same team as their friend?

Yes, the children may well be placed in teams in our camps, and as long as we are aware of friends or siblings, we will try where possible to put them in the same teams.

The Camp

What activities do your camps contain?

Our camps have varying itineraries which can be found when you click onto the camp event links listed below. These are a good representation of what we will offer, but please be aware that content may change from time to time depending on a number of variables.

What if my child doesn’t have any friends attending?

Our coaches are aware that some children may not know anyone so the day is structured so that they will play some team building games to begin with so that they get to make new friends during the day.

What time is lunch?

Lunch is generally around midday at our camps, but may vary from time to time. Coaches may carry out an informal ‘lunchbox inspection’ to ensure that enough lunch is eaten.

Your Child

What do you have to bring to a camp?

Firstly, a smile as we like our camps to be pleasant environment. Comfortable clothing and footwear, but please bring warmer clothing in case of poor weather, and the children can always remove a layer if necessary. A packed lunch and a refillable drinks bottle in case as there will be opportunities to re-hydrate throughout the day. We suggest children leave any mobile phones, iPods, etc at home as we will not be responsible if any are misplaced or lost. The coach will always have a mobile phone with them for emergency purposes and any messages can be passed onto children if necessary.

Do children need any money at camp?

Some of our camps operate a tuck shop. Whether Tuck is sold at the venue will be outlined in the event page below.

My child has a medical condition. Do I tell you?

Medical information is collected when you complete our booking procedure. Please give us as much information as possible to ensure we are fully aware and you can let us know what we need to look out for so that we can act accordingly.

Will you contact us if there is an emergency?

Yes, of course. It is important you continually give us your contact details when re-booking for this very reason. In case of emergencies we will act accordingly and keep the parents/guardians updated.
