The best way to get into any industry is by volunteering! We are always looking for volunteers with great energy, professionalism and a passion for sport or dance. Some of our area managers and even franchisees joined Apex as a volunteer; this is the chance to impress and secure a paid role at Apex with great training opportunities and career progression.

Activators work along side our Lead Coaches and Full Time coaches delivering high quality coaching sessions. It is the perfect opportunity to shadow and learn from our activity professionals while developing the skills required to lead groups of people.

You will be working across our Holiday Camp, Events and Schools programme delivering a wide range of activities to groups of children and will need to be professional and punctual while having a friendly and approachable character.

Our Activators need to have a Level 1 Coaching Qualification, First Aid Qualification and Child Protection Certificate (or have the desire to work towards one).

We believe in investing in our staff members and will support anyone in finding the relevant course and qualifications needed, while also placing them through our comprehensive CPD programme to develop them into a lead coach.

Our Lead Coaches are the core and lifeblood of our team, and we are looking for more individuals who enjoy working with children and have a passion for sport or dance. Content of the sessions will vary depending on the programme and location, but full training and support will be given to any new coaches.

To be considered for this role applications should have excellent communication and organisation skills, Level 2 coaching qualification (or dance award) and have previous experience working with various ages and abilities. All applications must be 18 years or older and have access to transport as sessions will be based across multiple locations.

All Apex staff members must posses a valid First Aid Qualification, Child Protection Certificate and Enhanced DBS Check  (or be prepared to undertake these).

We believe in investing in our staff members and will support anyone in finding the relevant course and qualifications needed.
